Collection Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Cream| Review

I've been wanting these products for ages, then they were in my drawer for ages and recently I finally got round to using them. I think what's been holding me for this long is the fact that I'm not really a fan of lipglosses, I know these are not lipglosses but they so look like them. The applicator is just the same as in a lipgloss as well. However, Cream Puff is something inbetween a lipgloss and a lipstick, it gives full coverage and matt finish, while being thick and creamy. Once the product is applied it dries on the lips after a couple of minutes, but doesn't dry them out, which is great since my lips get dry really easily. I absolutely love the names of the products in this collection - I got mine in Powder Puff, Fairy Cake and Cotton Candy and the last one is my favourite of all three (there's one more: Angel Delight but I just didn't really like it). Plus they smell like vanilla, which I love especially considering how cheap the products are. The only downside is that they don't stay on for long, but then again I don't mind re-applying from time to time. I would recommend Cream Puff to anyone who hasn't tried it, it's definitely worth picking up.

MAC Lipstick in Vegas Volt | Review

I'm more of a light, sheer kind of lipstick person but I decided to go out of my comfort zone and picked up MAC's Vegas Volt about a month ago. And since I love all the lipsticks from MAC I already have, I decided this would be a good brand for my first bright spring/summery colour. Vegas Volt is a really nice coral shade with a hint of Orange that also leans to the pink and I'm surprised at how much I actually like it. It looks a little scary and neony in the tube but looks brilliant once applied. The formula is amazingly pigmented and creamy, and it doesn't dry out my lips (I'm so lucky to find so many lipsticks that don't make my lips dry lately). The lipstick is very moisturising and stays put for hours - about 3-4h without re-applying. It's quite vibrant but without being tacky. Also I absolutely love the name of this lipstick and that's what actually made me give it a go in the first place. I think every girl/woman needs a coral lipstick in their collection and Vegas Volt is the perfect choice.
Unfortunately, the photos don't do the product's justice so if you have a chance, stop by a MAC counter and check it out.

Maybelline Falsies Mascara | Review

I know I'm so behind with this one but I just never got round to getting the Falsies mascara even though I wanted to try it for ages and heard lots of positive things. And then a couple of weeks ago Boots had an offer for £2 off on Maybelline mascaras so I didn't even think twice and finally got it. Now after using it for a while I absolutely love it and it replaced Maybelline's Rocket in my makeup bag. The mascara has a curved wand which helps to get the product evenly on each lash and apply it easily. Also, the brush doesn't smear on the eyelids, which is another reason why I'm loving it so much. It gave my lashes volume, length and no clumps. The formula is quite wet but it dries pretty fast and doesn't smudge or flake after hours and hours of wearing it. In fact I am still wearing it right now, since around 11am and it looks just great. I think Maybelline might just be my favourite mascara brand at the moment, keeps impressing me over and over again.

e.l.f. Blushes in Tickled Pink and Mellow Mauve | Review

I've been wanting to try out e.l.f. products for ages and finally decided to get a few things a couple of weeks ago. I was totally lucky because they had an offer '50% off your next order' on so I got more than I was going to in the first place (which is good). The first items I decided to review are their blushes, I got two: Mellow Mauve and Tickled Pink, and the second definitely works better for me. I found Mellow Mauve to be a little too dark for my vampire-pale face, but I might like it in the autumn when I go for darker blushes. As for now I'll stick to Tickled Pink, which is a matte peachy pink shade. Both products are nicely pigmented but somehow they go on sheer on the cheeks I noticed, so I had to use quite a bit of the products to get the desired look. And my skin is fair so if you are a darker skin tone it might be a pain applying the blushes. When it comes to packaging, I do like it a lot but I wish the shade was written at the back. Overall, I like my other blushes a little more to these ones, but I will keep using Tickled Pink from time to time.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipsticks in 02, 03, 06 and 19 | Review

I am a little obsessed with lipsticks lately and was trying out a lot, so this time I decided to share my love to Bourjois' Rouge Edition that came out not so long ago. The lipsticks I picked up are in shades 02, 03 06 and 19, and  an absolute winner for me is 02 which is kind of a purple/brown-ish shade. Then 03 and 19 are coral shades, but 19 is more of a sheer and light colour. The least favourite of mine is 06 (a frosty pink), it just doesn't suit my complexion. All the lipsticks are well-pigmented and moisturising, and deliver just the right amount of shine. My lips tend to get dry easily and peel, which makes it hard to find good lipsticks (and that's probably the reason why I've been trying out so many) but these are just perfect. They stay on for ages as well, however I re-apply every now and again because I'm just so used to it. I really like the packaging too, it's quite classy and you can see the colour of the lipstick at the bottom, plus I love the click it does while closing (I'm weird like that). I would love to try a few more shades and will definitely re-purchase 02 and 19.
