theBalm Nude 'Tude Eyeshadow Palette | Review

After trying the oh-so-raved about Frat Boy blush from theBalm (and loving it more than any other blush) I had a look at their whole range and came across the Nude 'Tude eyeshadow palette. I'm not gonna lie, I bought it because of its retro packaging, the way the shadows are displayed and their fun names. Best decision ever as the quality is amazing as well. It comes with a dual eyeshadow/liner brush, but I've not used it yet, it's too small for my liking, plus I'm not a fan of dual brushes. The palette contains 12 neutral colours, a little bit of everything - satin, shimmery, metallic and matte shadows. The texture is silky and buttery, and they are so so so buildable. I would even dare to say they are more buildable than the Naked palette from Urban Decay (and I'm in love with this palette). The pigmentation is great too, the colours don't wear off at all - they stay on for about 6 hours without(!) a primer and much longer with primer on. I remember I was so excited when it arrived in the post I changed my eye looks from a day to a night one for a week. I've also not experienced any fall-out. I'm so impressed and happy with this product that at this moment my beloved Naked palette is sitting in the corner. I'd definitely recommend Nude 'Tude to anyone, nice one theBalm!

Girls Just Want To Have Makeup | Wishlist

There is so many things I've been wanting for ages and so many new products coming out that I decided to put together a 'little' wishlist. Also, I've noticed that I tend to go for the makeup that's been on my wishlist when I'm shopping other than random browsings. So yeah, here is goes. My lusts of the moment...
1. Maybelline Baby Lips (will retail at £2.99/each once released, yes they are finally landing in the UK next month! I cannot wait!)
2. Physicians Formula Glow & Mood Boosting Blush (now, that's a brand I would LOVE to try out, their range is out of this world but surprise surprise, not available in the UK and the prices on Amazon are a bit over the top considering they are charging for this particular blush £14.34 + £1.99 for delivery, whereas in America it retails at $11.95. I mean, come on...)
3. Benefit Hervana Blush (£23.50, I've been wanting this for ages now but always forget to pick it up when I'm shopping, next time - it's mine.)
4. Elizabeth Arden New York In Bloom Pure Finish Radiant Bronzing Powder (£22.10 on the feelunique.com website, absolutely love the look of this product.)
5. Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayons (£7.99/each, and they are on 3 for 2 offer in Boots at the moment so might have to order them online, my local Boots doesn't stock them which is actually shocking as it's Brent Cross Boots and Brent Cross is supposed to be one of the top London shopping centres. Sort it out, Boots!)
6. Too Faced Sweetheart Perfect Flush Blush (£24, I'm a sucker for nice packaging as you can probably tell but it just looks, well, prefect.)
7. Maybelline Master Drama Chromatics Eyeliners (£4.49/each, and they too are on 3 for 2 offer at the moment. But again my Boots doesn't stock them so... I keep putting away getting stuff online because I like to swatch things first but what can you do.)
8. Soap & Glory Glow All Out Luminizing Face Powder (£11, I've been seeing a lot of reviews on this lately and all of them just kinda pushed me towards this powder.)
What's on your wishlist at the moment? If you have any of the products I mentioned, are they worth picking up?

Max Factor Wild Mega Volume Mascara | Review

I've been looking forward to trying this mascara out after seeing the advert in almost every magazine, plus the packaging looks so cool I just couldn't resist. Max Factor came out with a new collection just now that includes eyeshadows, shadow pencils and the Wild Mega Volume mascara. I really want to pick up bits and pieces from the rest of the collection but both, Superdrug and Boots didn't have them at the time so I only got the mascara. Now, I've seen a few opinions on this product and so far it seems like it's getting positive feedback. Unfortunately, I'm not convinced. I've been using this mascara for over a week now and I've not had a day when it wouldn't smudge on my eyelids and under my bottom lashes. Maybe it's because of its hourglass-shaped brush, I don't really know. There's one thing I like about it though, its staying power is amazing. I had it on during my journey back to London all the way from Scotland, and 16 hours without smudging or fading is impressive if you ask me. But unfortunately, overall I'm not a fan. Great staying power but for me the smudging while applying the product is too much.
Have you tried Max Factor Wild Mega Volume Mascara yet? What did you think about it?

NYX Blushes in Cinnamon, Mocha and Peach | Review

I've been hearing about NYX since I started reading blogs and watching YouTube videos, and I've been wanting to try their products for ages. So when I noticed NYX was going to be at IMATS I was doing lists of what I would pick up months before the actual event. I know the products are available online but I'm just the kind of person that prefers to go into a store and swatch things first. So anyway, I managed to pick up three of their blushes, Mocha and Peach which are on the pink side, and Cinnamon which is a light shade of orange. What I like most about NYX blushes is that they are amazingly smooth, they also apply and blend easily. You need a light hand with these though as the pigmentation is great and it's easy to overdo it. I ended up with an Oompa Loompa face at first cause I used too much. So yeah, a little goes a long way. The blushes also last all day, no need to reapply unless you are planning to be out all day and night. I usually wear them for up to 8 hours and they look just fine. I definitely want to try a few more shades and would recommend them to anyone. Cheap and good quality, what else can we ask for.
Have you tried NYX blushes? Is there any shades you would recommend?

NARS Blush/Highlighter Duo in Sin and Albatross | Review

I was really excited to visit the NARS counter at IMATS in London last month, but once I found it I was a little disappointed as they weren't selling their whole range. I was looking for the classics - Laguna, Orgasm and Albatross. I managed to get one of them, but as a duo paired with a blush, Sin. I paid £12.50 so I have to say, the price is nothing to complain about, bargain. Now that I've been using it for a while I got used to it being a duo and I'm even slightly falling for Sin (I knew I would love Albatross even before I got it). Both, blush and highlighter are nicely pigmented and easy to blend, so just a tiny bit of product works wonders. I was really surprised with Sin, I didn't think it would look in any way nice on my face, but I was pleasantly surprised once I decided to try it on. It's so flattering on my pale skin. The products last pretty much all day, didn't have to reapply either even once. I'm happy I got the duo now, I probably wouldn't even consider the blush if it didn't come as a duo. That's a bit of a kick to go out of my comfort zone more often. I am not entirely sure on the price of the duo as at IMATS they had special deals on, but should be around £30.
Have you tried Albatross or Sin from NARS? What's your go-to highlighter?

Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow Duo in Raisins | Review

I've seen Tanya Burr raving about this and then Zoella included it into one of her Favourites videos so I decided to check it out at the counter (like five times). I have to say it took me a while to finally get this, never tried Estee Lauder products or paid £23 for an eyeshadow duo. But, I have to say it's totally worth its price and the brand is genius, really want to try out their other products after using Raisins. The duo consists of a really light pink shade and a plumy-raisin colour, both shimmery but not 'in your face'. Subtle shimmer I would say. They look absolutely gorgeous with my green eyes and compliment them so well. I usually just use the light pink all over my eyelids and the plum-ish shade in the crease. The product is nicely pigmented, easy to blend and buildable. If that's not enough, it stays put all day, I've been wearing for over 12 hours once and it still looked the same as in the morning. Oh yeah, and did I mention the packaging? It's to die for, I couldn't stop looking at it when I first got it. I would definitely recommend Raisins Duo from Estee Lauder and if you were thinking of getting for ages (like me), just do it. It's amazing.
Have you tried any Estee Lauder products? What would you recommend?

MAC Lipstick in Coral Bliss | Review

I know I've been off for the past week, but I've been moving into a new flat and I have no internet at the moment so yeah. That's basically my excuse. Anyway, I found a way round it so I can finally write a new post. And it's something I've been loving for quite a while now, it's a Cremesheen lipstick from MAC in Coral Bliss. I'm so obsessed with corals lately it's unreal. They are so nice for this time of year though. Not that London's summer is in any way impressive so far but. Back to Coral Bliss, it's a really nice pinky coral shade with a bit of brightness to it and it's a great lipstick for pale skin tones I noticed, it's kind of a neutral colour but has that nice pop to it. It just looks really flattering on. It's quite sheer but buildable so you can work out yourself how strong you want the colour to be. It's a little drying on the lips but the staying power makes up for it. It lasts for 2-3 hours for me. Then again, as I keep saying I don't mind re-applying so. It's a really good lipstick and I would definitely recommend it, I will be definitely re-purchasing if I don't find a nicer soft pinky coral shade.
Have you tried Coral Bliss from MAC? What's your favourite coral lipstick?
