NARS Blush/Highlighter Duo in Sin and Albatross | Review

I was really excited to visit the NARS counter at IMATS in London last month, but once I found it I was a little disappointed as they weren't selling their whole range. I was looking for the classics - Laguna, Orgasm and Albatross. I managed to get one of them, but as a duo paired with a blush, Sin. I paid £12.50 so I have to say, the price is nothing to complain about, bargain. Now that I've been using it for a while I got used to it being a duo and I'm even slightly falling for Sin (I knew I would love Albatross even before I got it). Both, blush and highlighter are nicely pigmented and easy to blend, so just a tiny bit of product works wonders. I was really surprised with Sin, I didn't think it would look in any way nice on my face, but I was pleasantly surprised once I decided to try it on. It's so flattering on my pale skin. The products last pretty much all day, didn't have to reapply either even once. I'm happy I got the duo now, I probably wouldn't even consider the blush if it didn't come as a duo. That's a bit of a kick to go out of my comfort zone more often. I am not entirely sure on the price of the duo as at IMATS they had special deals on, but should be around £30.
Have you tried Albatross or Sin from NARS? What's your go-to highlighter?

IMATS London 2013

So as it is 23rd of June aka the day I went to IMATS for the first time ever, and definitely not last, I decided to post straight when I got home. Well, after getting some food and checking out everything I got. Anyways, it was one of the best experiences and seeing Karin Darnell was a cherry on top, I'm now absolutely knackered and happy, and can't wait to try everything out. I went to Nars first as this (and NYX) was my main destination, but I was a little disappointed actually. They weren't selling any of the stuff I wanted to get (Orgasm and Laguna mainly), only palettes, a few eyeshadows and nail polishes. They did have a good deals on them though so not a complete waste of time. I got a duo of Albatros and Sin for £12.50, which I was eyeing up anyway. Then I went to NYX, which was timed brilliantly, by the time me and my friend Jess got to the checkout the queue was as long as in front of an Apple store on a new iPhone day. I got lots of eyeliners, the three blushes that were on my wishlist, a couple of lipsticks and three eyeshadows. I was expecting to get more bits and pieces but they didn't have the rest of the things I wanted so. Still, pretty successful little haul overall. I also got a palette from Inglot with 5 different shades of red, Stargazer nail polishes and some brushes from Crown Brush, bdllium tools and Royal & Langnickel. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be going back next year. And the year after that.
Have you ever been to IMATS? What did you think? If not, would you like to go?

IMATS Wishlist

So as every makeup-obsessed person I cannot wait for IMATS, which is in less than 3 weeks now! I just can't stop thinking about it and decided to put together a little wishlist of what I was thinking of getting. Bring on June 23rd!
1. Nars Blush in Orgasm £21.50
2. Nars Highlighter in Albatross £21.50
3. Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer £18
4. Inglot Palette £10 + £4.50 for each eyeshadow (I wanted an Inglot Palette for ages and finally have a chance to get one, probably with different shades of red as I've got so many beige/brown eyeshadows already and I'm kinda falling for reds recently)
5. MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Macsara £18
6. NYX Powder Blushes in Mocha, Summer Peach and Cinnamon £5.50/each
7. NYX Glam Shadow Sticks in Yellow Diamond and Elegant Marble £4.50/each
8. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils in Cashmere, Knight, Pots & Pans, Milk, Slate and Iced Mocha £4.50/each
9. NYX Round Lipsticks in Indian Pink, Sky Pink, Strawberry Milk, Spell Bound and Blush £3.50/each
10. NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams in Candy Land, Buttery Nude and Spicy £5/each
It's quite a big list, but I hope I'll be able to get most of the things.
Are you going to IMATS this year? Have you been before?
