MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle | Review

I know it's been like ages and ages since I last posted, but I had lots of things to sort out and stuff. Anyway, I'm back now and definitely have enough time to do some blogging business. I decided to write this post about something I have absolutely fallen in love with and been thinking of since I got MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade and surprise, surprise it's the famous Soft and Gentle. I have to say I had quite high expectations after seeing all the hype it's getting (I actually haven't come across any negative posts or videos about it). And it absolutely lives up to everything it's known for. It adds a nice, subtle sheer to the face and has a glowy (in a good way) finish. Soft and Gentle is a champagne colour highlighter enriched with a hint of pink and gold shimmer. It's well-pigmented so it needs a light hand when applying, a little goes a long way with this product. I usually use it for the inner corners of my eyes, brow bones and cheekbones, and I love it's staying power, all day with maybe one little touch-up and that's after like 6-7h. I can't really say enough good things about Soft and Gentle, it's one of my favourite products ever and I'm so glad I tried it out. Definitely re-purchase and recommend.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish In Lightscapade | Review

I've been wanting to try MAC's Mineralize Skinfinishes for a looong time, they've been raved about for ages and ages now, and I finally decided to pick one up a couple of weeks ago while shopping. I was a bit torn between Soft & Gentle and Lightscapade (almost got both in fact), but I thought Lightscapade would be a safer choice for some reason (now I wish I got both because this one is amazing and I want more, sorry wallet). And now that I've been using it for a while I can say that Lightscapade is probably the nicest highlighter I ever tried, it adds a nice subtle glow to my face - it's basically perfect for my pale skin (however, I've heard it unfortunately doesn't work on darker skintones). Lightscapade is a lovely champagne colour with subtle shimmers, it gives just the right amount of highlight and doesn't look glittery or over the top. It's also quite hard to overdo but unfortunately doesn't last as long as other highlighters so it needs re-applying throughout the day (personally it doesn't bother me much). It's definitely worth its price tag and if I ever run out I will re-purchase straight away.
Have you tried any of MAC's Mineralize Skinfinishes? What's your go-to highlighter?
