Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum

I was lucky enough to get this perfume as a Christmas present from Andy, my boyfriend's brother. It is by far the nicest perfume I've ever tried. It's got a really nice sexy smell to it, not too light or too intense - just perfect. It's wearable at night or during the day, which is amazing cause not a lot of perfumes can serve both. The scent lasts for hours and hours, well it is Jimmy Choo after all so. The packaging doesn't disappoint either, the bottle looks gorgeous - round with a cube cap on top. Couldn't have picked a better one, great present Andy, so thanks again.

NYC Applelicious Glossy Lip Balms

I don't really own any NYC makeup, this one was kinda my first. I got two lip balms because well, I love my lip balms and these looked so appealing. They have tiny little apples in the middle that just make the tubes look pretty. It's not the best lip balm I tried though, it's not glossy as it says it is, it does have a sparkle to it but it's not what I expected and it needs a lot of re-applying.  On the other hand I love the way they smell (of apples obviously), so re-applying is not too bad. I absolutely love this kind of smell of apples, it's so nice. It's not as moisturizing as any other lip balm I tried unfortunately, so I don't think I'll be using it often. But I will definitely keep smelling them, as I do. I'm a little weird when it comes to nice scents. Maybe they will work better in the summer, I hope so at least.

Bourjois Blusher in 95 Jasper Rose

I have been looking for a nice blusher for a while now, last one I tried was Maybelline's Expert Wear blush but it left me disappointed. I had a look at Bourjois blushes the other day, swatched a few on my hand and I have to say I was really impressed. I decided to pick up one of them to try it out and decided that if I liked it I would get a few more shades (their colour range is gorgeous). The one I got is Jasper Rose, a really pretty and shiny (but not too shiny) peachy-pink shade I'm in love with already. It applies and blends in really well and lasts for hours and hours. It's got an amazing scent to it as well, it kinda smells like holidays and soap (might not be everyone's cup of tea though). I'm not too sure about the brush Bourjois added to the blush, I didn't use it and probably not going to since I finally treated myself to Real Techniques and their brushes are just brilliant. Overall, I wish I had tried this product before and I will definitely buy a few more shades - best blush I've tried.

Model's Own Nail Polishes

I have seen blue nails all around lately and I wasn't really so fond of blue on nails before but for some reason I love this trend. And considering I'm all about the glittery topcoats lately I found one that was just perfect for this post, Model's Own nail polish in Freak Out! Boots are carrying an offer on Model's Own varnishes - 2 for £8 at the moment so obviously as I do, I couldn't walk past it. I got a nice blue shade in Feeling Blue, which I thought would look nice with Freak Out! The topcoat has 'big' blue pieces of glitter and tiny pink ones which I think makes it look even cooler. I also really like that Feeling Blue is a Smurf-blue shade for some reason. However, after having it on my nails I like Feeling Blue better, I'm so glad I got it. I think I was expecting a little more from the topcoat to be honest, but I still like the way it came out. I've done my nails on the bus back from work so they might not look perfect, but there it goes. Hope you like it.

Revlon Lipsticks in Cappuccino and Nude Attitude

I thought I would never find a perfect nude lipstick for myself, but I have to say Revlon's Nude Attitude is almost it. It looks perfect on my lips but I have a feeling like there's something missing. However, it is the best nude lipstick I've tried so far. The other one I decided to include in this post is Cappuccino, a really nice pearly shade that I'm absolutely in love with at the moment. Both lipsticks are well pigmented, smooth and long lasting. They don't have any scent to them whatsoever (or my nose just can't smell it), which is better than the plasticky smell some lipstick have. I like when makeup products smell nice but I really don't mind if there's no scent at all. I definitely look forward to getting some more shades from Revlon, seems like they have one of the best lip products when it comes to drugstores. Their colour range is amazing too, so many to choose from. I think anyone would find something they like.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick: £7.49 (each)
