Lush Lip Scrubs

I know I'm a little behind with this, but I finally got the famous Lush lip scrubs. It got so much hype I couldn't wait to get my hands on it for ages and now that I have I'd love to join the fan base. I have tried them before but never got round to buying. Anyway, it saved my life. My lips weren't in the best state and thanks to Lush they are only getting better now. It is a little expensive but on the other hand, so worth the money. I was actually never so sure I would re-purchase something as I am about these products. They taste and smell amazing, I can't stop saying how impressed I am with these two little pots. I also like that they are a little heavier than other lip products. The only disadvantage would be the price, as I said.

Max Factor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Sticks

I've been waiting to get these for quite a while (well, since I heard Max Factor was bringing them out), but my local Boots didn't have the shades I wanted, as per usual. But I managed to get them at last and oh my days, they are amazing. Also I really wanted to get a lip product in a pen stick form but couldn't find any I would like, so these little beauties put a big smile on my face. I might just get the rest of the collection since Boots is having 3 for 2 offer. In fact I'm planning a massive haul because they have it on all of the makeup at the moment so you can mix brands and not just items within a specific brand, happy days. Anyway, back to the products. The only worry for me is that they have to be sharpened, they don't have a twist up mechanism. But that's only a small detail and it doesn't bother me too much because they are such good quality. They all have a moisturizing finish with a lovely gloss. Plus they last for ages and the colour you see is what you get. The shades I got are Passionate Red, Subtle Coral and Princess Rose and the red one is my definite favourite. First red I actually like. The sticks are definitely worth their price tag.

Maybelline Baby Lips

I am quite disappointed with Maybelline for not releasing Baby Lips in the UK to be honest, Amazon charges more for delivery than for the product itself. So I decided to get a couple to check it out but in a chapstick form since it was cheaper and I have to say they work amazing. Plus they smell so delicious, I got mine in Mango Pie and Anti-Oxidant Berry so you can probably imagine. They are moisturising and really helped my lips get better throughout winter, so I'm glad I got them. They don't last very long, but I don't mind re-applying every now and then. It leaves a nice sheer glow which I like a lot too as a lip balm finish. I wouldn't choose them over Nivea lip balms though.

Bourjois Delice de Soleil Bronzing Powder

After falling head over heels with Bourjois blusher the brand got me again with their powders. I got a couple, but decided to review Delice de Soleil first. It was quite hard to find a bronzing powder that would suit my pale face, so I'm so glad I picked it up. I wasn't sure about the packaging at first, but it's quite cool actually. It's a nice brown case with a rotating mirror. The bronzer is a lovely, natural looking shade and contains just the right amount of pigmentation which allows to build up the colour, plus it's easily blendable. I got the one for fair/medium skin so if this is not enough, there's the one for dark/tanned skin to check out (it's more intense). It smells quite nice too, didn't have any chocolate scented makeup before. Bourjois also added a tiny brush with it, but I can't say anything about it really since I've not used it once (prefer my Real Techniques brush). Overall, I'm happy with this product and would probably re-purchase once it's finished.

Benefit Fine One One

So I have finally added Benefit's Fine One One to my makeup bag thanks to my boyfriend's aunt, Pauline (thank you so much for this). First of all, I never actually used a cream blush let alone a highlighter or a contour. I was a little worried I wouldn't like it but was glad to try it anyway, and I'm so happy I got the opportunity. It's just brilliant, a quick and easy way to highlight, blush and contour all in one without too much effort of using different brushes (not that I mind but Fine One One is a great time saver). All it needs is a sweep from the apples of the cheeks up to the temples and light blending - I really didn't think it would be that simple. I like all three shades included as well - a sheer pink champagne, a watermelon pink and an orange based coral. The cherry on top is the packaging, really nice rose gold case wish a twist up mechanism. I'm so impressed with this product, I now know what all the fuss is about and it is now a must have in my makeup bag.
