theBalm Nude 'Tude Eyeshadow Palette | Review

After trying the oh-so-raved about Frat Boy blush from theBalm (and loving it more than any other blush) I had a look at their whole range and came across the Nude 'Tude eyeshadow palette. I'm not gonna lie, I bought it because of its retro packaging, the way the shadows are displayed and their fun names. Best decision ever as the quality is amazing as well. It comes with a dual eyeshadow/liner brush, but I've not used it yet, it's too small for my liking, plus I'm not a fan of dual brushes. The palette contains 12 neutral colours, a little bit of everything - satin, shimmery, metallic and matte shadows. The texture is silky and buttery, and they are so so so buildable. I would even dare to say they are more buildable than the Naked palette from Urban Decay (and I'm in love with this palette). The pigmentation is great too, the colours don't wear off at all - they stay on for about 6 hours without(!) a primer and much longer with primer on. I remember I was so excited when it arrived in the post I changed my eye looks from a day to a night one for a week. I've also not experienced any fall-out. I'm so impressed and happy with this product that at this moment my beloved Naked palette is sitting in the corner. I'd definitely recommend Nude 'Tude to anyone, nice one theBalm!

  1. The colours are beautiful and I love the packaging too :). This eyeshadow packaging reminds me of Too Faced. Isn't it the same company?

  13. I really want to try this palette.

I've seen it used in a few Youtube tutorials and I wasn't sure about the shades, but these swatches have me sold. I wasn't aware that there are a mixture of different types. I rather like the look of Sultry and Sexy.

  14. This looks like a really pretty palette, some very different shades to what you'd find in most neutral ones. I love the look of 'sexy', such a gorgeous colour.

  21. This looks like the perfect palette for me! I rarely go for bright colors, except for when a make artist does it, so I really don't own any bold colors, plus the package is adorable!
