Rimmel Stay Matte Powders | Review

I've had a couple of Stay Matte powders from Rimmel for a while now but never actually thought of reviewing them for some reason. And I don't know why really cause I use them pretty much every day and they are my go-to powders at the moment. I have quite a few powders but none of them have such a nice matte and silky finish, I am yet to try high-end powders but I just love these ones so much I keep putting it off. They are well-pigmented so you need a light hand while applying, otherwise it might look cakey. They also go on well over concealer and instantly mattify any shine on my face. Plus they make my makeup last longer and there is no need to re-apply, I normally wear them to work and they lasts for up to 9-10 hours. The only thing I would say I don't really like is the packaging. The lid comes off way to easily and I'm always scared it's gonna break or randomly come off. But then again, for its price it's not that big of an issue. I will definitely re-purchase Stay Matte, they are just are just amazing.
Have you tried Stay Matte from Rimmel? What powder would you recommend?

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation and Pressed Powder

I have been wanting Nearly Naked to come out for ages and ages now and on Tuesday when I picked up Look magazine I noticed the foundation in the makeup section, my eyes literally went crazy big. I couldn't find it in Brent Cross Boots though, so I thought it wouldn't be out for a while because I usually find every single thing I'm looking for in there. After work my boyfriend offered to get me a Valentine's present and took me to our local Boots, and they had it! I couldn't believe it because they never update the stock there, but never mind that. That was the best Valentine's gift ever.
So, now on to the review. The foundation is in my opinion amazing, it blends in really well and covers up redness while leaving the feeling as if there's nothing on my face. It's buildable with light to medium coverage, it leaves my face feeling fresh and looking natural. It doesn't feel oily or looks shiny, or cakey. The 10 hours I had it on the foundation looked great, it didn't separate throughout the day. It feels very light, kinda like there's nothing on my face. The only downside of this product for me is that it doesn't have a pump, but I wanted it so bad that I don't really care at this point.
I am as impressed with the pressed powder as I am with the foundation. It feels smooth and silky, doesn't leave dry patches like some other powders used to do for me. It blends right in and there's no powdery feeling left. I am very happy about both products and look forward to using them on daily basis. Revlon is definitely my #1 favourite at the moment.

Bourjois: Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation and Healthy Balance Unifying Powder

Bourjois is one of my favourite brads so when I spotted this foundation and powder a while ago I had to have it. What I liked about it straight away was the fruity smell, it's amazing and I've never tried a foundation or powder with a nice scent to it. But then again, the scent doesn't mean the product is great so.
I've been using Bourjois Healthy range for a while now and I have to say it is quite good comparing to what I've used before. It's really easy to blend in with fingers or a sponge however, I do prefer to use a brush. It lasts fairly long too, up to around 7 or 8 hours without fading which isn't bad, but definitely not 16 hours as it says on the package. Provides light to medium coverage (for me), has a nice, smooth texture and doesn't look cakey. I'm not too keen on the packaging though, I don't know. I think I just prefer a glass bottle like Revlon's.
The powder on the other hand has a nice packaging, red and slim, and is really light. Plus there is a mirror on the inside. It doesn't include a puff or a brush, which I don't mind because I use my own anyway. Coverage is light to medium too, but unlike the foundation it stays on for the promised 10 hours. It doesn't dry out the skin, which is great because my skin gets dry easily.
Overall, I don't think I will re-purchase the foundation just to try out new ones and I already have my favourite, and nothing has been able to beat it yet (Revlon PhotoReady). But I love the powder a lot, so I will  re-purchase this product. Unless I find something that works better for me.

My foundation is in shade 51 Light Vanilla and powder is in 52 Vanilla.
