Pretty Little Liners

We all know how hard it is to find a good eyeliner, especially a pencil one. I finally did though, and I so wish I went to MAC for it earlier. I got Feline (literally the blackest black I've seen yet) and Fascinating (white). I was looking to use pencil eyeliners mostly for my inner waterline - both top and bottom, I much prefer liquid ones for my eyelids to be honest. And these work so well, Fascinating makes my eyes look bigger and opens them up and Feline emphasizes them nicely (I heard it emphasizes every eye colour actually so, it's a winner). I was using Scandal Eyes from Rimmel before I got these but I don't think I will go back to them any time soon, I'll give it to MAC, they do eyeliners much better. They have a slightly creamy consistency and go on effortlessly and smoothly, they do need touching up every three hours or so though (but three hours is pretty good if you ask me, I tried liners that would disappear after 15 minutes before). And remember to apply setting powder over it, it helps a lot. Fascinating and Feline are also extremely pigmented, have a matte finish and no undertones to them. These are definitely my HG eyeliners and I will re-purchase them over and over again. If you thought about trying them out, don't hesitate, just do it.

MAC Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline | Review

I picked up this eyeliner by accident actually, I was getting a couple of lipsticks in MAC and then I thought why not try their pencil eyeliner. I seem to have bad luck with finding one that wouldn't fade or smudge. Until now I was using Rimmel Scandal Eyes eyeliners but they needed re-touching like every 20 minutes so  though MAC could be a good shout and I got a very black one in Feline for my top and bottom inner waterlines. Staying power of this product is amazing, the colour lasts for about 3-4 hours before I need to re-apply, which is a nice change from the constant re-applying with other pencil eyeliners. It goes on smoothly and one swipe is enough to get an opaque look. I absolutely love this product and will definitely be getting more shades - white and nude, and maybe brown at IMATS, which is less than a month away now. Can't wait for it. Anywho, if you are looking for a good eyeliner Feline is definitely it and you wouldn't regret giving this product a go. I will definitely re-purchase.

Eyeliner: L'Oreal Super Liner

^ From top: Super Liner in Black Crystals, Super Liner Ultra Precision in Noir/Black, Super Liner Perfect Slim in Intense Black.

I have been through more eyeliners than I can count really, but never found one that would stay on without smudging or fading for longer than a couple of hours. I tried pencil, gel and liquid eyeliners but none of them would satisfy my needs in terms of looking good all day or night, I would have to re-apply over and over again. With some it would take a long while to get the line opaque. Then I've seen how much hype L'Oreal Super Liners were getting so I got one in Black Crystals to give it a go. I was so impressed when every time I checked my makeup in the mirror I would find the eyeliner perfectly black and in place, I went to get the other two. Ultra Precision liner is just as good, but I was a little disappointed with the Perfect Slim. It is the easiest one to apply but it does not stay on for as long and smudges after a while. In comparison, the other two eyeliners would survive the night, I feel asleep wearing Super Liner in Black Crystals a couple of times and the next morning it still looked like as if I just applied it.
The sponge tip feels really nice and soft, which I would choose any day over a brush. It also dries within seconds so I don't have to worry about accidentally closing my eyes too quick. What is more, even though it stays on for ages and ages, it comes off really easily when taking make up off. I was expecting to pay around £10, but it was £6.49 in Superdrug (not sure about Boots, but probably more less the same).
I am absolutely loving this product and would recommend to anyone looking for a good eyeliner.
