MAC Lipstick in Coral Bliss | Review

I know I've been off for the past week, but I've been moving into a new flat and I have no internet at the moment so yeah. That's basically my excuse. Anyway, I found a way round it so I can finally write a new post. And it's something I've been loving for quite a while now, it's a Cremesheen lipstick from MAC in Coral Bliss. I'm so obsessed with corals lately it's unreal. They are so nice for this time of year though. Not that London's summer is in any way impressive so far but. Back to Coral Bliss, it's a really nice pinky coral shade with a bit of brightness to it and it's a great lipstick for pale skin tones I noticed, it's kind of a neutral colour but has that nice pop to it. It just looks really flattering on. It's quite sheer but buildable so you can work out yourself how strong you want the colour to be. It's a little drying on the lips but the staying power makes up for it. It lasts for 2-3 hours for me. Then again, as I keep saying I don't mind re-applying so. It's a really good lipstick and I would definitely recommend it, I will be definitely re-purchasing if I don't find a nicer soft pinky coral shade.

MAC Lipstick in Creme Cup | Review

Creme Cup is my first ever MAC lipstick, I don't know why I picked it as my first one. I think I just wanted to start off with a shade that I know would match me, kind of like staying in my comfort zone. But it was a good choice cause I really love Creme Cup and it's one of my favourite lipsticks, ever. It's a colour you can wear anywhere and anytime, and it looks just gorgeous with a pink blush and/or a smoky eye. Best pinky-nude I came across really. It's so nicely pigmented and creamy as well, goes on smoothly and is buildable. Can't say enough good things about this. It stays on for ages, I re-apply it every now and again just because I'm so used to doing it, but there is no need to for about 3-4 hours. The lipstick doesn't settle into creases or dry out my lips. Love it. All in all, Creme Cup is a winner and I would highly recommend it. Oh, and I will definitely re-purchase.

MAC Lipstick in Crosswires | Review

After picking up Vegas Volt I decided to get another summery lipstick, well actually I was going to MAC with Ruby Woo in mind but decided to get something less 'red' as I'm just not brave enough for this one. I found Crosswires and fell in love with it, the colour caught my eye straight away, I was surprised I haven't noticed it before. The lipstick is a nice pinky-coral shade, it's quite bright but not neon-ish or in your face. It's good for going out as well as completing an everyday makeup look, it's a perfect statement lipstick. It also has a nice golden sheen to it, which you can see in the last photo. The lipstick is buildable, two swipes are enough to get an opaque look but you can apply less or more depending on how strong you want the colour to be. It's well-pigmented, smooth and long-lasting, usually 3-4 hours, however it leaves a pretty stain on my lips so I tend to re-apply only once or twice. The product doesn't dry out my lips or settle into liplines, which I've noticed some people complained about, it works just brilliant for me. I absolutely love the creaminess of this lipstick and how comfortable it feels on my lips. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a statement lipstick but are afraid of a full-on red lips look. This one is a winner for me.

MAC Lipstick in Vegas Volt | Review

I'm more of a light, sheer kind of lipstick person but I decided to go out of my comfort zone and picked up MAC's Vegas Volt about a month ago. And since I love all the lipsticks from MAC I already have, I decided this would be a good brand for my first bright spring/summery colour. Vegas Volt is a really nice coral shade with a hint of Orange that also leans to the pink and I'm surprised at how much I actually like it. It looks a little scary and neony in the tube but looks brilliant once applied. The formula is amazingly pigmented and creamy, and it doesn't dry out my lips (I'm so lucky to find so many lipsticks that don't make my lips dry lately). The lipstick is very moisturising and stays put for hours - about 3-4h without re-applying. It's quite vibrant but without being tacky. Also I absolutely love the name of this lipstick and that's what actually made me give it a go in the first place. I think every girl/woman needs a coral lipstick in their collection and Vegas Volt is the perfect choice.
Unfortunately, the photos don't do the product's justice so if you have a chance, stop by a MAC counter and check it out.

MAC Lipstick in Peach Blossom | Review

I went a little makeup crazy this month and got quite a few lipsticks, but decided to review MAC's Peach Blossom first because I'm quite literally in love with it. And I only got it a few days ago. Love at first sight that was. It's a really lovely peachy pink shade with sheer and glossy coverage. It gives my lips just the right amount of shimmer making them look subtle as well as adds a nice glow. It's not a long-lasting type of lipstick (Cremesheen) but re-applying every now and then doesn't really bother me because I do it with any lip product anyway. I think what I like most about this lipstick is that it doesn't dry out my lips like so many other ones tend to do since my lips can get chapped easily. Peach Blossom is the perfect shade of nude for me (fair) or at least I think it is because I like it so much, but I've tried so many nudes before and none suited me. I'm so glad I got this and would recommend it to anyone. I'm definitely re-purchasing it once it's used up.
